The Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion (OSDI) works to support and fill the needs of students of color in the College of Education. I work closely with their liaison to communicate ideas and together we merge resources to better support the groups that we intend to serve. Associated Students of the College of Education (ASCE) is the governing student body of the CoE. Alongside Masters and Ph.D. students, I am the only undergraduate to serve as an executive board member. I work directly with seniors (and some juniors) in high school to prepare them for college and/or career life through consultation and knowledge of financial aid. When I began, senior financial aid completion was well under 25%; in about a month, I helped the completion rate exceed 40%. I also create visually appealing informational flyers of scholarships.

Over a 20 week period, I provided mentorship & guidance for underprivileged youth ranging from 4th to 8th grade students in STEM, specifically VR/AR and Robotics- along with coding exercises. Throughout, I was able to learn more about their community & culture to better serve the youth.
