- Plan and design Network infrastructure which includes improvements, upgrades and alternate solution.- Prepare and install Network infrastructure as specified by the client so that the required service delivery standards are met.- To assess the client's current Network and server infrastructure and provide an assessment report that details the Security Risks and remedial measures.- To conduct proactive Network monitoring and management to reduce risks and eliminate inefficiencies. - Provide onsite WAN Support to Government Departments in the North West Province.- Liaise with 3rd Party Support (Telkom, Neotel, Wispa, Vodacom and BBI) entities to resolve all WAN link issues

- Attend to all user logged incidents and device auto logged incidents and ensure their resolution within SLA.- Provide Remote WAN Support to Government Departments and Provinces.- Liaise with 3rd Party Support (Telkom, Neotel, Wispa, Vodacom and BBI) entities to resolve all WAN link issues. - Compile daily outage reports for National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and Department of Justice and monthly SLA reports for National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).- Assist users with 3G issues. - Proactively manage and maintain the network infrastructure of Government Departments and Provinces.- Do occasional site support for department of Justice and Correctional Services in Gauteng Province.

- Troubleshoot all WAN / VSAT/ LAN network issues relating to SARS network.- Responsible for all network infrastructure changes (removal, addition and replacement of network devices).- VSAT installation for redundancy to critical SARS sites. - Responsible to liaise with 3rd Party Support entities to resolve all WAN link issues, cabling and radio link and Wireless and LAN network issues.- Compile daily and weekly reports for network outages to SARS sites. - Remote Support for MPLS/VPN clients such as Rasimone, Scaw Metals and Afgri.

- Part of team on IP migration project, to switchover from legacy IP network with minimal downtime.- Configure, install, and manage Cisco switches to Anglo Platinum network.- Assisted in the design and implementation of the Anglo Platinum LAN network improvement.- Troubleshoot all WAN / LAN network issues.- Responsible to liaise with 3rd Party Support entities to resolve all WAN link issues, cabling and radio link and Wireless and LAN network issues.- Responsible for all network infrastructure changes (removal, addition and replacement of network devices).- Attend to logged calls, resolve the timely and maintain the agreed SLA level.- Assisted with managing the performance, reliability and availability of all network devices.

- Troubleshoot WAN and LAN issues related to the clients; Anglo Gold Ashanti, BHP Billiton, Nampak and Sasol.- Liaise with 3rd Party Support Companies such as Telkom, IBM, Orange Business System, Support services and Neotel to resolve all WAN links related issues.- Attend to all call logged, resolve them timely and maintain the agreed SLA on monthly basis. - Assisted with managing the performance, reliability and availability of all network devices.- Management of database relation of IP addresses to device names and resolving of infrastructure issues with regard to duplicate IP addresses, device names and gateway.
