I earned my BA in Accounting and MS in Leadership from The University of Lynchburg while also serving as Co-Captain of the Men's Basketball Team and a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.I chose accounting as my major because I've always enjoyed and excelled at math. And with one additional year of eligibility, I chose to study leadership because I understand the importance of gaining respect and buy-in from those around you. After serving as a leader on the court, I wanted to study concepts that could be applied off the court as well.Since graduating, I have explored different opportunities to play basketball in the US and abroad. Now I am ready to start my career in finance, levering my foundational accounting, financial analysis, advanced Excel, and communication skills.My core competencies include finance, accounting, financial statements, Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint), advanced Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP), data analysis and reporting, project management, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
