I am a Banking & Finance graduate who attended the London Institute of Banking & Finance. My interests for finance began in my A levels where I achieved results in the top 1% of the country through the LIBF accounting and finance programme. My current knowledge covers financial management, accounting, general management, risk management and strategies. I have experience in auditing and addressing financial shortfalls at the Post Office Ltd, UK and for the Greencore Group in the FMCG sector. I have an understanding of operations and processes in the retail and cultural sectors which enables me to pinpoint financial issues. This has grown from delivering financial tasks and administrative responsibilities for the Post Office and a popular London museum. I enjoy applying my academic knowledge to improving operations and processes in business and in cultural spheres. As the former Personal Secretary to the Head of the Tamil Catholic Chaplaincy, I organised events and collaborative meetings. I also completed annual reports and addressed areas for improvement in the running of the organisation. I thrive on challenges which is why the general business management sectors appeal to me.My passion is serving people and the local community. I choose to do this by helping organise community events and participating in committees for active change. I enjoy creative and athletic pursuits with a communal focus, by being part of diverse sports teams and playing traditional Karnatic instruments.
