• Project scheduling including material & manpower planning.• Reviewing Tender documents (via Drawing/BOQ/Specs) & Evaluation of Bids & Support to Project Manager for finalizing the contracts.• Generate estimates and bill of materials from electrical blueprints and prepare the final project bill according to the format of Central Public Works Department.• Monitoring the execution of site activities of the Contractor.• Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentation.• Recording, Analyzing and Interpreting test data.• Proposing modification and retesting products. • Co-ordination among architects, consultants, contractors and statutory authorities.

• Continually observes the functioning of station equipment in substations, principally as revealed by various meters and gauges. • Observes switchboard instruments for unusual operating conditions and performs the function necessary to restore the equipment to normal or remove it from service as required.• Switches and maintains substation equipment for proper operation. • Prepares the equipment for operation and starts, stops and controls the units, adjusting the load and voltage and accessory regulating equipment as required. • Performs switching operations in accordance with standard operating procedures.• Maintains daily operating log on all operations, both routine and emergency, and reports on line outages and weather conditions. • Records hourly readings of indicating and integrating meters, and changes, marks and checks charts of recording instruments.• Periodically inspects station both inside and outside to determine proper operation of facilities and maintain security. Makes minor adjustments and repairs.• Pre monsoon maintenance and periodical shutdown of stations for maintenance purpose is also carried out.
