As a developer in CAKE Payments team at MadMobile, I got the chance to:- Design and develop new features and improvements for the requirements that come from Product team.- Build and deploy the artifacts into development and testing environments.- Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance testing in development environment.- Plan, document and perform internal releases for new features, improvements and bug fixes.- Contribute to the project management activities via proper use of tools and practices.- Participate in regular engineering practices like design reviews, code reviews, scrum ceremonies, DevOps, etc.- Involve in technical discussions and coming up with design decisions, design diagrams, optimal solutions, etc.- Work closely with QE and Operations teams to ensure the proper quality, test coverage and smooth software deployment and maintenance.- Troubleshoot and debug applications when there are issues related to production and other test environments.- Assist other teams with the issues and clarifications on the software components maintained by Payments team.During my internship period, I have mainly contributed to the following releases.- Batch job execution support from Payment Admin Console (PAC).- Re-onboarding process for Litle merchants to Payment Gateway (PG).- PCI and Log4j vulnerability fixes.- Onboarding approval process for review and rejected merchants through PAC and Admin API.- Beneficiary owner management support for CAKE Payment Applications.- PAC activity log improvements for non-merchant functionalities.- CAKE PG integration with Ingenico Gateway.In addition to that, I have worked on a PoC on isolating PG testing via WireMock integration and given my fullest contribution for the PCI re-certification for 2022 cycle.
