Taught introductory microbiology in the fall semester, in addition to my full-time work at U of M, and hopefully got students curious and excited about science!

My team of in vivo technicians was responsible for daily test article administration (PO/SC/IP routes mostly in rodents), health observation, animal care and facility maintenance activities.

I began my life sciences career at MPI Research. I worked as a technician in the necropsy department and then in sample management/shipping.I then moved into supervisor roles, first in the archives department and then as a supervisor of a research support group in the pathology department.From January 2011 to December 2012, I also acted as the Lead Archivist for the entire company, fulfilling FDA GLP requirements as the sole person designated by my organization to be responsible for the archives.A major accomplishment in the position of Project Leader - Archives involved developing a process, SOPs, documentation, resource planning, and inventory systems for maintaining refrigerated and frozen samples associated with finalized studies (blood, serum, plasma, tissue).

My first job! I started working here the day I was legally old enough to work. Such a formative experience in my life.
