Parnilis Media is a micro-press in the same way that Iron Hill is a microbrewery. The editorial content is by turns educational, startling, palatable, and well-crafted. Our roster of authors include academics, researchers, historians, journalists, and folklorists. We have focused on translated works, educational course materials, alternative children's books, dark history, and poetry. But that is just the beginning.

Wrote articles and whole books without a personal byline, translating the speaking patterns of the attributed author(s) into the written word. None of the supposed authors of these articles wants the secret out, so no references are possible.

I write books and articles that explain technology and science in clear terms, with a client list that includes the New York Times Circuits section, Barnes and Noble, and a slew of computer publications. I also perform class-based instruction.

I'm a trained professional journalist, it's true. But I also love folklore. And anything I write that I can't put out as a pro journalist falls under questionable.info. It's questionable because I can't call it factual under the laws of journalism. But spontaneous human combustion, monsters, and mythic creatures like Santa Claus and the Krampus that fall into the popular zeitgeist but fall outside the rules of journalism are not easily dismissed. I established questionable.info as an umbrella for the fun stuff I research and write about that's not tech journalism. Among the fruits of this venture are the holiday book Night of the Krampus, which I have published and lectured about in libraries across Pennsylvania and Maryland...as well as in the prestigious Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn, NY.
