Financial planning, analysis, and controllership• Review and approve month-end processing of journals and ensure accurate reporting of the general ledger through analysis and taking corrective actions where necessary.• Provide detailed analysis of costs for BU and business partnering to allocate costs effectively and make informed decisions with the relevant stakeholders.• Manage the forex conversion process and minimize forex exposure for payments• Implement finance processes and ensure optimization of processes within the department • Resolving intercompany transactions for global month-end reporting• Review, approve, and interrogate balance sheet reconciliations on time and accurately to ensure zero risks to P&L• Preparation of VAT and submission of VAT return on SARS e-filling, follow up VAT with SARS• Prepare and send minority shareholder reports on a quarterly basis• Prepare and send Statistics SA quarterly management report• Prepare and send Tax related information required by Tax consultants for income tax submissions• Provide a corporate card summary report to the business• Submit monthly forecast and commentary to the group• Prepare and submit monthly intercompany trade submission reports to the group.• Prepare and submit quarterly balance sheet analysis file to group with commentary• Complete handling of the external auditors from inception to completion of the audit• Perform Internal audit processes to assist with Internal audit readiness for operations and finance Client services and operations• To assist with the BEE audit by providing all information on time as expected• Resolving AP queries, approving vendor applications, interrogation approval, and invoices on the AP systemPeople management• Facilitate the creation of accountable, full-service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all clients• Manage and improve performance through a reduction of error rate on treasury/IBA function
