Raise issues to Data Centre Engineers and Operations Managers, based on incident management procedures. • Ensure secured facilities are available and ready for customer’s use. • Keep processes and procedures updated. • Ensure staff follows procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents according to Standard Operating Procedures and escalation matrix. • Liaise between two or more parties/teams to communicate and coordinate activities (eg. power maintenance, workstation maintenance, access, connectivity issues).

• Responsible for Network Design, Implement and Manage of a multi-site IP Backbone Network to be better performance and customer experience.• Configure and implement OSPF, ISIS and BGP for Backbone PE routers to ensure efficient data routing and failover.• Analyze the condition of the IP network; reliability, latency, availability and plan to improve network quality to fulfill customer satisfaction.• Design and implement a disaster recovery plan, reducing downtime by 20% during network failures.• Configure and troubleshot VRF to ensure seamless network operations.• Proactively monitor corporate IP infrastructure to detect and address potential issues before they impact operations.• Manage incident and fault, ensuring timely identification and resolution of network hardware faults.• Regularly reported network performance metrics, including bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss, and network uptime, to the team manager and department manager.

Responsibilities:• Support Operation and Maintenance of Mobile Money (MPT Pay) Backend System to identify and troubleshoot incidents, outages, and performance issues.• Provide Level 2 troubleshooting support for Red Hat / CentOS Servers, Cisco Routers and Switches to prevent disruption to customer service.• Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to improve load balancing efficiency. • Collaborate with application teams to design and implement load balancing solutions. • Implement Firewall rules, VPNs, and security policies to protect against threats. • Track incidents, service requests, and ITSM ticket actions to ensure uptime and error-free and it meets Service- Level Agreements (SLA).• Perform routine System/Network Health Check, Maintenance and Backup tasks to ensure system reliability and data integrity.• Solve on-call complaints to provide 24/7 support for Critical Network Incidents, troubleshooting and coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize network downtime.• Assist in cable installation in between MDF, ODF and router in the Data Center. • Support network users with connectivity, VPN, and access issues. • Manage and supervise a team of NOC Engineers responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the IT Infrastructure.• Develop and implement NOC processes and procedures / Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.• Establish a cooperative and productive environment by leading and mentoring a group of NOC engineers and analysts.

Responsibilities:• Alarm monitoring, incident handling and trouble ticket (ITSM) handling of servers, systems, and network infrastructure using monitoring tools.• Respond to alerts promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs. • Escalate Critical incidents to Level 2 support of network and system team to resolve incidents effectively. • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents. • Analyze system alerts and execute initial diagnostics for potential issues according to the SOP. • Familiar with Netnumen (ZTE) software, U2000 (Huawei) software, Digital View , ZMC, Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios and SolarWinds to detect and resolve network issues proactively. • Solve ender user request for hardware, software and network issues. • Troubleshoot for laptop and printer problems. • Configure Operations System , software application and updates. • Provide routine maintenance such as system updates, patch version upgrade and antivirus scan on all the desktop and laptops. • Maintain Up-to-date knowledge of network technologies and trends. • Perform in the development of NOC procedures and best practices. • Document incident details, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference. • Submit daily and weekly Key Performance Indicator ( KPI )Reports for system, server and network. • Execute ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
