Financial Controller
CurrentManaging day-to-day operations of Trust Corporation finance team (4xFTE) including:o Management Accounting - Supervise the month-end process, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of management reports, including reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, budget versus actual variance analysis and general journals.o Transaction Processing – Supervise Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivableo Financial Accounting – Oversee preparation of five separate financial statements and manage relationship with auditors (PwC)o Planning and Analysis - Responsible for overseeing the annual budget process, leading all forecasting/planning activities and adhoc business analysis.o Compliance - Oversee compliance with statutory, regulatory and taxation obligationso Risk and Internal Controls – Responsible for internal control environment and conducting operational performance audits with a focus on controls and financial sustainability.o Board Reporting – Responsibility for presenting monthly results to the BoardFund Manager of Diocesan Development Fund portfolio - Responsible for management of asset allocations, customer relationship management, loan appraisals, cashflow, treasury risk management and investments.
