Thawon Preyawan began his investing journey at the start of 2020, a few months before the COVID-19 crash. He immediately recognized that crypto has the infrastructure behind it to power the future of the internet and other technologies, and quickly became incredibly interested, burying himself in research and learning about cryptocurrencies and DeFi projects ever since. He discovered an uncanny knack for analyzing crypto markets, and with a newfound understanding of the technology, Thawon started to purchase long-term positions primarily in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Thawon taught himself how to correctly use and understand crypto futures/leverage through an institutional-level mentor and countless days spent charting and learning how to interpret market movements. Through his limited experience but meaningful results, Thawon started a nightly Twitch stream which worked to provide an overview on the markets and as well as his trading and investment strategies which mainly focus on analyzing macro and fundamental metrics, price action across markets, and technical chart patterns. He also actively shares his trading ideas across the Easy Loot platform, a global network for traders, where he is recognized as a “Quant Trader” in the community. Thawon is a continuous learner, actively updating/improving his investment and trading strategies while working to find undervalued cryptocurrencies and other projects.
