Current• Set-up automated aircraft wheel inspection system• Composite honeycomb delamination test, includes carbonfiber and fiberglass and metal to metal bond using Ultrasonic testing• Thickness measurement using thickness measurement unit• Work on Q400, Cessna, B737, Lear jet, Challenger, CRJ, DASH 8• Work with water washable line, post emulsifiable line and solvent removable penetrant methods• MPI using stationary and portable• Provide training to new trainees• Overhaul Aircraft wheels including NDT on Meggitt, ABSC, Goodrich, Cleveland Parker, and Safran wheels• Dash 8,100/300, CRJ and Q400 composite and honeycomb bond / Delamination testing• ET- low & high frequency Eddy Current inspection and rotary bolt hole inspection• Corrosion severity test using Eddy Testing• Establish and Write NDT Reports, Techniques and documentation system• Worked on GE engine LPT Disc and Fan rotor with Semi-Automated scanning system using ET• Assist in written practice and company work procedures.• Shop and Field work to meet customer requirements in various NDT methods• Assist customer in all NDT related matters to meet specs requirements and assist in costing.• Equipment used, Rohmann Elotest M3, OlympusNotec 500S, Olympus Epoch 600, Olympus 45MG, Olympus BondMaster 1000e+, Andec automated Wheel test unit, Magnaflux MPI unit, Penetrant portable and line unit, Automated ET disc inspection system.
