In one case, by introducing a cloud file-sharing system among external writers, designers, editors, proofreaders, design offices and our staff, I virtually eliminated freight costs of transferring manuscripts and artworks. The cost for the Shinsho series, for example, had been around 24 million yens per year before this rationalization. The project gave authors and editors valuable time and energy for shining up content.In the meantime, I wrote and translated several books as personal projects.
