Coordinate, schedule, and implement short-term mission projects for volunteer teams to 20+ countries and 10 U.S. states. Nurture close relationships between team members and nationals to identify and meet spiritual, physical, emotional, and material needs. Representative projects have included: * Pastoral Encouragement – Mexico: Visit different Mexican cities 3 to 4 times a year (since 2003) to challenge and encourage local pastors and to lead service projects for individuals and families.* Christmas Baggie Project – Mexico: Sent missions teams for 14 consecutive years to deliver 1500+ gift bags (toys, toiletries, candy, clothes); encouraged follow up by national pastors. * Church Construction – Mexico (Mazatlan): Obtained funding from 3 U.S. churches and sent teams to work alongside national Christians in building a new church in the Castillo neighborhood.* Hurricane Felix Relief Effort – Nicaragua: Led two teams to construct 140 houses, a church, a clinic, and a school for 2 indigenous tribes. * HIV-AIDS Awareness – South Africa: Consulted with local pastors to feed the poor and educate families on HIV-AIDS prevention and treatment. * Construction – Papua New Guinea: Led team in building addition to missionary’s house in remote jungle, encouraging missionaries and pastors, and assisting in local ministry outreach.* Missions Conference – Indonesia: Spoke at churches and missions conference on service, giving, and the gospel. * Bible Distribution – Middle East: Raised $100,000 to print and distribute Bibles at a book fair. * Hurricane Katrina – New Orleans and Mississippi: Took teams on 8 relief trips, providing counseling and humanitarian assistance. Worked closely with other teams from LA, TX, and AZ.* Student Ministry – Kosovo: Spoke in local churches and led team to establish student ministry at a local university. Visited and assisted missionaries and pastors throughout the country.

Team Leader responsible for training new hires in all aspects of production including; pick, pack, ship,and receive merchandise into warehouse. As a cross trainer I also taught a safety class and worked in trouble shooting problems on the floor.

Responsible for maintaining and coordinating the inventory of the warehouse. I increased inventory accuracy from 84% to 99% while reducing obsolete and inefficient inventory levels by 33%.I monitored levels for re-order, was a certified Forklift and Pallet Jack operator. Cross training on inbound and outbound shipping.

Responsibilities included shelf stocking, facing, General Merchandise and Liquor. Liquor Department include back room, ordering, stocking, and end caps. General Merchandise Department stocking, facing, end caps and organizing the backroom.

Rotated to a variety of roles as needed. Remained during times of conflict, believing in the mission of the church and committed to the people of God.* Recruited to fill High School Pastor interim role upon sudden departure of former youth leader. Enabled healing process and trained 10 small group adult leaders, focusing on spiritual growth. (2004)* Transitioned to Missions Pastor interim role until pastor returned from overseas assignment. (2005) — Took 10 trips in 18 months to areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. Led 45 people on 8 short-term mission trips, working with 6 churches, 4 agencies, and pastors in rebuilding churches, a community center, a health clinic, a home for unwed mothers, and a GED house. * Chosen by Senior Pastor to assume Executive Pastor interim role; hired youth pastor, missions pastor, and women’s director. Conducted site visits to ensure proper procedures being followed for over 20 locations based on corporate guidelines.

Planted 2 new churches, developed leadership in 6 churches, and revitalized churches, and trained pastors and volunteers at churches in Central Mexico. Built key relationships with pastors from the U.S. and Mexico. * Directed short-term missionary teams in conducting Vacation Bible Schools and built church buildings, education classrooms, restrooms, and other projects in 9 separate sites.
