Worked on the famous Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies building at Oberlin College. Assisted in its revival as one of the leading-edge buildings for green technology and sustainable practices. Examined everything from potential building system upgrades to aesthetic improvements. Involved in materials and equipment research, interacted with professionals and designers, and created mock-up drawings and schematics of proposed changes.

Worked in the Living Machine - a passive gray water treatment processing plant within a LEED platinum building. The Living Machine is independent of the local municipal water system, and is a nationally-renowned demonstration of alternative, sustainable methods of water treatment in a closed loop system. Conducted laboratory analysis of water samples at different stages of purification to ensure safe levels of ammonium and fecal coliform were maintained.
