    With the support of my last employer, I am taking a career break to concentrate on my family and professional development. So far I have accomplished the following:- Volunteered and raised money for a cause I believe in, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.- Completed a course on Architecture for AWS cloud.- Completed a course on Machine Learning from MIT.- Written more papers on LinkedIn. (see FEATURED section above).- As an Ambassador to Couchbase, previewed pre-released Couchbase DB features for OLAP. Most importantly, I've connected with and devoted myself to being present for my family. Surprisingly, this has taken up more time than I anticipated with my usual full-time employment. I've attended taekwondo competitions and gymnastics events, and, of course, spent time on my passion for skiing with the family.
