A universal banker is a newer role in the financial industry. We hold the responsibilities related to personal banker, teller, and customer service. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of tasks related to customer inquiries.My duties consists among others opening accounts for existing and potential customers, preparing related paperwork and required identification, identifying the needs of existing and potential customers, responsible for daily deposits and withdrawls, promoting and upselling our banking services to existing and potential customers, and responding to customer inquiries and concerns regarding checking and savings accounts.

As a Sales and Marketing Revenue Coordinator, my main responsibility is to help manage the department's workflow and promote the hotel's image to actual and prospect guests. Furthermore, my responsibilities include handling guest inquiries on various media platforms, regularly updating rates to remain competitive, designing advertisements, overseeing contracts, inventorying rooms, analyzing demand and revenue, managing online travel agency platforms, communicate efficiently with internal and external persons and more.

Furthermore, my responsibilities include posting and handling guest inquiries on Facebook, regularly researching and updating rates to remain competitive, managing online travel agency platforms, communicating efficiently with colleagues and guests, various administrative tasks, and more.

As a fourth-year Marketing student at the University of Aruba, I had to conduct a research as a final working condition to obtain my bachelor's degree. The purpose was to solve an issue within a company for which Aruba Bank N.V. was chosen.Aruba Bank N.V. was the first established commercial bank in Aruba. Since 1925, the bank has responded to the banking needs of its customers. Its focus is on innovation and providing an exceptional experience to its customers.My thesis research revolved around the quality of customer service according to the perception of employees and the experience of customers.

The Mill Resort and Suites is known as the friendliest beach resort in Aruba and as the sister company of Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort. Even though they serve leisure guests, their main focus still relies on timeshare sales.As a former sales and marketing coordinator, I was responsible for communicating information to guests, extranet partners, and customers for potential collaboration. In addition to fulfilling my responsibilities, I have designed various artworks, created advertisements for their social media platforms, researched and suggested rates to stay competitive, customer service, managed online travel agencies platforms, and regularly updating content.

At Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort, my work was related to both sales and marketing, overseeing new corporate rate contracts, ensuring that every written detail was set accordingly and that the information entered was accurate, and after each contract was signed by the concerning persons, I had to request rate codes for each company. Aside from having the ability to post and create events on Facebook, I had the opportunity to learn more about how to target new prospects with posts. I was also responsible for designing various advertisements, promotions, and banners for Facebook.

As a marketing intern, I had the opportunity to be part of the pre-opening team that has made a successful conversion from The Mill Resort and Suites Aruba to Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort. As an applicant I wanted to acquire more learning competences about the work of Sales and Marketing. My work as a trainee was to work creatively, collaboratively and independently on my duties. Courtyard by Marriott offered me endless possibilities and my main responsibilities within this organization consisted of attending radio programs, assisting with social media, help to create local and international advertisements, participating and organizing various events, creating artworks for social media platforms and lastly, supervising the platforms of online travel agencies.
