As therapy practitioner and yoga teacher, I am very happy to be part of a global health experience for patients suffering depression, burns-out, anxiety disorders (and other psychopathologies) in the very high quality and renowned psychiatric Marigny Clinic near Toulouse. This weekly support that I give is to me exactly what makes the whole sens of what yoga and therapy can achieve together. Indeed, these two disciplines are complementary to connect spirit, body and emotions into one holistic human vision to achieve a continuous progress to better health.

I am now a certified practitioner. I have been trained more specifically in Gestalt therapy in Paris for 4 years. I made the choice of a professional retraining after having myself followed an in-depth personal therapy. My former profession was communication. I had my own agency but at the age of 40, I wanted to direct my professional life in a completely different way and turn to personal support professions and work at the heart of human relations.The choice of Gestalt therapy is linked to its theoretical and pragmatic approach which suits with my vision of therapy today. It takes into consideration the whole person, his emotions, his bodily sensations and his thoughts. The specificity of Gestalt is that the therapist is fully involved in the therapeutic relationship and will focus above all on the present moment, where the sufferings and blockages of the client are reactivated. In the session, we don't just talk, we experiment because we will be more interested in "how" the person functions today with his environment, what his relational mechanisms are, rather than trying to answer the "why" he suffers and look for the causes. We will therefore work on his autonomy, his responsibility and his creativity.Also trained in the teaching of yoga, I pay particular attention to psycho-corporal work to support the person towards a stronger awareness of his body and his emotions.

Becoming a Yoga Teacher is a great accomplishment for me as I have been practicing this discipline for many years now. Paralell to my daily Yoga work, my objective tomorrow will be to incorporate Yoga philosophy, postures, relaxation and breathing into the world of Gestalt psychotherapy. Indeed, these two wealthy universes can be very complementary and I wish all my heart to contribute of the caring of my patients with adequate therapeutic tools. Yoga is one of them !
