Reporting Analyst
Led the implementation of Power BI to enhance business reporting. Within this project, also assisted the development team in the creation of a brand new data warehouse - look at data structures and relationships to get the best out of it.Manage a small team that designs & develops reports across the whole business using both Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel dashboards. Manage a wide range of stakeholders, from those needing high level views such as performance dashboards, to those needing the nitty gritty worklists to really impact the business.The aim is to always provide the business with information that is going to help make a difference, whether that be a dashboard to help show the trends, a forecast to pre-empt decisions before it becomes a firefight or indeed the data they need to carry out the firefighting in a way that resolves any issues as efficiently as possible. Business Analyst
This role was a very different one for me which moved away from the data and more to the business processes. The focus was always on making things better and more efficient for the teams within the business.Stakeholder management was a key aspect of this role, and it helped my development significantly by working with different personalities under different pressures. Acting as the in between for the business and the development team, we understood the business problems and translated into solutions for the best user experience in terms of interaction with the systems.
Continuous Improvement Performance Analyst
Within the North London region, I built and developed reports to help drive continuous improvement both in the region and across the whole business. Centralised meetings and communication across the other regions helped improve best practice methods for reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and priorities.Led the creation of forecasting models across all regions to help track KPIs and target areas for improvement. Working primarily looking at complaints, it was important to understand the complexity of work undertaken in the field as well as in house processes to be able to carry out forecasting and reporting.Built dashboards using Excel to provide insight and help shape business decisions based on fluid data.
Performance & Reporting Analyst
Created, developed and prepared reports using CorVu, CRM Microsoft Dynamics and Excel to monitor cash collections, debt raised and other performance indicators. A major achievement of mine was the creation of the cash collections vs debt raised daily forecast which helped the business achieve a record result. Obviously a lot of that credit has to go to the teams carrying out the work, but this report helped direct the work, for example if we knew there was going to be a high level of debt raised in a month/week, we would target cash collections through various methods to increase that income. It proved to be very successful.Provided daily, weekly and monthly updates on key business areas in order to maintain visibility across all aspects of the business.Provide support, where necessary, to other teams in the business to ensure positive results and maintain healthy working relationships throughout the organisation.
