18 months ago (Jan 2022) during covid we got ourselves an FDM machine to see if we could 3d print some eyewear. It was a total disaster ! But we did not give up believing that 3dp technology would advance to become a major production process for consumer goods. Than we started to look into all aspects of 3dp - SLS, resin and anything that we need to know about. How do we feel now ? Even more confident and excited and the world will soon see the fruit of our labor.

I have many roles.And many ideas I like to share. I have my own company. TCat Design & Marketing Studio in Hong Kong. T is me Thomas. Cat is Catherine the Love of my life and the inspiration for a lot of my work. Hence TCat.I am also the Design & Marketing Director of an optical group from Hong Kong.My role is to handle "New Business Development" and we are working on many new and creative projects.I am in particular interested in hooking up with graphic designers, web designers, marketing experts, public relation professionals to see if we can work together on our new eyewear projects.We are "Thinking outside the Box" and working on worldwide co-operation in distribution, online shops.Personally I love working with creative people. So I am working on ideas that have nothing to do with eyewear too - romantic gifts, cooking website...........some people call me crazy. I take it as a compliment :-)You will laugh when you hear the story of how I got into the eyewear industry since I actually studied Law in UK. The thing is I have this creative urge all the time that I had to find myself an outlet. I have been working with international companies on design and development of eyewear for over 20 years now and I am quite well known for my creativity and flexibility - also for my taste of good food and wine.I have a lot of good connections in the eyewear industry of Hong Kong/China and I am open to share my experience and know how.I taught myself how to design eyewear. I still remember the my first design was drawn by Paint Shop with only strict lines while I had some time left before meeting friends for a drink.Since then I have many pupils - and they are working in many different eyewear companies.You will find me to be very communicative, relax and confident.
