In this role, I provide highly responsive support to internal customers by developing an understanding of their needs and developing solutions that provide answers to their questions. Requirement gathering informs the identification, export, cleaning and transformation of available data into solutions that range from one-off high-level insights and analytics that answer urgent business questions, up to Power Query and Data Model leveraged interactive reporting/visualisation templates that encourage customers to 'play' with their data through user-friendly interfaces.I am routinely consulted to provide analysis and advice on customers' data sets to improve alignment with data-management and reporting practice, performing data normalisation that provides an optimal structure for any potential reporting needs. This activity also allows me to design and build solutions for my customers that enhance access to/visibility of records stored within vast tables or matrices through the creation of custom 'front-ends' or dedicated user interfaces - simplifying workflows, creating time-savings and providing a more enjoyable user experience.
