Joined Delta Airlines as commercial airline pilot upon separating from the United States Air Force. Held position as a Boeing 737 Flight Officer/Pilot until being furloughed following the 9-11 tragedy carrying passengers throughout eastern half of the US.

From 2003-2006, Chris conducted VIP missions throughout North America and Southeast Asia transporting 3 and 4 Star Generals, foreign dignitaries, Director of FBI and CIA. Commanded C-21 (Lear 35) unit in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; directed the operations of VIP transport in the Persian Gulf. Served as Chief Scheduler, Mobility Officer, Safety Officer and was one of four personal pilots for the Commander-in-Chief of Air Mobility Command and Transportation Command. Received Aerial Achievement Medal for classified missions in Southeast Asia, Air Mobility Command’s Excellence in Airmanship Award for safely recovering a badly damaged aircraft with the Scott AFB Wing Commander on board. Nominated for 10 Outstanding Young Airman Award for volunteer work in the local community, organizing and running a mobile soup kitchen and work with Habitat for Humanity. From 1996-2001, Chris Commanded VIP passenger transport, medevac, strategic airlift, nuclear airlift and aerial refueling missions worldwide. Presidential Support Pilot. Missions included transporting the Secret Service, presidential vehicles and equipment in support of the President of the United States. Chief of Training McChord AFB, Washington, 1998-2001, responsible for the training and evaluation of over 200 pilots, engineers, navigators and loadmasters for the C-141. Nuclear Airlift Pilot, 1997-2001, one of only five such pilots in the United States responsible for the transportation of nuclear weapons worldwide. Chief Executive Officer, 1996-1998, carried out the duties of the 4th Airlift Squadron Commander in the management of 400 personnel; liaison to the 62 Airlift Wing Commander; coordinated meetings, special events, fundraising, performance reports and budget proposals. One of a handful of pilots to qualify as an Antarctica Instructor Pilot to transport the National Science Foundation to the South Pole. Received the Air Force Commendation Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal and Top Secret Security Clearance.
