For fifteen years I've been a subject matter expert focused on the complex area of electronic invoice compliance, with decades of experience implementing, selling, and supporting solutions that cover business-to-business (B2B) and application-to-application (A2A) integration, supply chain automation, outsourcing / SaaS, service-oriented middleware, business process management, enterprise messaging, and document capture and automation.My experience started with the nuts and bolts of mainframe and midrange operations and extended into computer networks, PC building and technical support, before finally settling into enterprise software focused on multi-enterprise integration and automation of business-critical processes like compliance, order to cash, procure to pay and accounts payable/receivable.I have worked with almost every aspect of B2B messaging and integration including telex/fax/OCR, EDI, XML, e-commerce, portals, J2EE site development, SOA and BPM.I developed a focus on the fascinating area of tax compliant electronic invoicing around 2007/8 and since then have assisted multiple global software providers in designing, building, marketing, selling and deploying tax-compliant electronic invoicing solutions.Currently, as Director of Product Marketing for OpenText, I provide strategic leadership around our electronic invoicing solutions including investment proposals and road map input as well as producing our collateral. I also provide marketing leadership around our Business Network Cloud offerings with a focus on scalable integration that extends from the mid-market to the enterprise.Previously, as Global e-Invoicing Compliance director at Jaggaer I provided full marketing and product management support as well as enablement. I also designed, architected, and delivered the full go-to-market for the JAGGAER Digital Capture OCR solution.Prior roles have included e-Invoicing Subject Matter Expert for OpenText, and global Product Manager for IBM covering their Sterling eInvoicing and Sterling B2B Integrator products.
