My current focus as a presenter and public persona is communicating science, sustainability and geology through theatre, general public lectures and artistic curation. This combines my 20 year career of showmanship with my formal education in geology and continued passion for Earth Science.I continue to deliver project management and entertainment programmes for external clients.This event production, engagement programming and commercial sector work has included contract management for local authorities across Scotland and Northern England, the leisure and retail sector, corporate clients and commercial entertainment events. I manage an international team of artists to bring high functioning teams together.Having worked full-time in arts management since 2001, I have been involved in many aspects of the international Street Arts and Circus Industry. Have fund-raised and managed projects up to £250 000 - have set up and managed European partnerships, for profit companies, charities and community groups.As a sector developer I founded the regional Circus Centre and School 'Circus Central', In Newcastle upon Tyne and established the regional youth and community circus in the North East of England. I have sat as a board member of national organisations Circus Development Agency and CircusWorks.I remain active as a performer (ringmaster, compere and host) with Let's Circus productions and for third party events.
