One of the largest causes of anxiety in our culture today is our individual avoidance of change. As a CTI-trained coach, I work with clients to create habits of change, in order to help them break through the walls they've built around their comfort zones. We work together to build more meaningful and expansive perspectives and lives by leaning into a regular practice of embracing the unknown. I've led workshops on overcoming your fears in public, written hundreds of posts on the topic of choosing change as a regular habit, and created a better life for myself through the practice of pushing past my comfort zone daily. Having left the education industry to become a freelance actor and singer, I fully understand the need to get comfortable with the variable nature of freelancing and entrepreneurship. This practice is ideal for anyone looking to grow in confidence, enhance their perspectives, and evolve to handle the countless changes facing us as individuals and as a global society.

Abigail Wright is a lyric Mezzo Soprano whose excellent musicianship and dramatic skills are matched only by her captivatingly unique and desirable voice. She recently made her Carnegie Hall debut as Marghareta in The Song of Norway and appeared in Carousel with Live from Lincoln Center and Prince Igor in the Metropolitan Opera's Live in HD series (returning for Turandot in January 2016). Under the vision of director and photographer Sarah Small, Ms. Wright was the featured opera singer in the critically acclaimed Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions, with an anticipated documentary release in 2015. In one of the highlights of her career thus far, she also collaborated with composer Mark Adamo to portray Meg in the Israeli premiere of his opera Little Women. Other roles include Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Nellie in South Pacific, Concepción in L’Heure Espagnole, Rosita in the puppet opera Don Cristóbal, Cheri in the film Wolfy's Journey, and the Mezzo Soprano in Conrad Susa's Transformations.In demand as an oratorio soloist, Abigail Wright has sung with the American Symphony Orchestra, Opera Lafayette, the Garden State Philharmonic, and the New Amsterdam Symphony, to name a few. Making her West Coast debut, Ms. Wright performed Verdi's Requiem with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, in which she was hailed as "full in the low range and balanced throughout with no apparent limit at the top. She showed the intensity and drama the music demands and sings with sensitivity.”Abigail Wright has performed and apprenticed with the Aspen Opera Theater and IVAI in Tel Aviv. She holds degrees from Westminster Choir College and the U. of MD, where she participated in the MD Opera Studio. She has also appeared in master classes with Joan Dornemann, Edward Berkeley, Marilyn Horne, Lauren Flanigan, and Charles Rieker. Currently, Ms. Wright lives in New York, where she continues to perform and study her lifelong passion for opera and oratorio.

Under the vision of director and photographer Sarah Small, Ms. Wright was featured in Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions, hailed as “a gift” by the New York Times, with an anticipated documentary release in 2015. In her voice-over debut, she collaborated with filmmaker Leat Klingman as Cheri in the puppet film Wolfy's Journey which, as an experience, was more than a gift to Ms. Wright.Trained at the Maryland Opera Studio, modeled after Constantin Stanislavski‎'s famed studio under the Bolshoi Theatre, Abigail Wright also performs regularly in opera in addition to her acting career. In the Metropolitan Opera ensemble, she has appeared live and in cinemas in Peter Grimes, Otello, La Damnation du Faust, Orfeo ed Euridice, Prince Igor and again in 2016, in Turandot. Abigail Wright has participated in the Aspen Opera Theater, and the International Vocal Arts Institute, and holds degrees from Westminster Choir College and The University of Maryland.
