The Facilities Service Supervisor ensures smoothly-run day-to-day operation and plans, coordinates and directs all custodial activities in compliance with the standards established by Cara Collective and regulatory agencies.The Facilities Service Supervisor is responsible for maintaining our downtown and southside campus locations with cleanliness, safety, minor maintenance, painting, operating equipment, products, and techniques, including but not limited to vacuums, buffers, sweepers, chemicals, methods, and other duties as assigned.

The Facilities and Grounds Supervisor will oversee the process to, through the use of a variety of tools and equipment; maintain grounds including planting, cultivating, pruning, cutting grass, general clean up, research, develop, improve, and implement the processes, and provide on-site leadership for the Grounds Department. He too will oversee the process to; through the use of equipment, chemicals, and tools; clean and maintain the facilities and buildings on the campus, oversee and provide on-site leadership, and continue to research, develop, and improve the processes of the Facilities Department.

Originally I worked for the Facilities Department doing daily cleaning and long term deep cleaning. I was transferred to the Maintenance Department and worked fixing doors, plumbing, electrical, and miscellaneous problems or breaks that occurred. Finally, I was transferred to the Grounds Department where I worked to keep up the grounds and outdoor facilities on campus. Cutting and trimming trees, bushes, and sections of the forest; maintaining walking trails and keeping sidewalks clear during the winter; and fixing the irrigation systems and keeping the whole campus looking as professional as possible.

Cashier, unloading incoming trucks, stocking shelves, loading outgoing trucks, customer service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and general night clean up.
