I started my first business selling candy to my fellow students in year 7 - and it nearly got me expelled. When my dad explained to the Principal why I shouldn’t be thrown out of school, but rather allowed to teach business to my classmates, I learned the value of reframing a story... and the power of marketing.After earning my Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Administration (concentrations in Marketing, Accounting and Finance) from Indiana University Bloomington, I worked managing a diverse range of businesses - everything from fast food restaurants to car hire companies - before eventually pursuing a career in corporate finance, working for some of the biggest banks in the US and Australia. Leveraging over 14 years of business finance and banking expertise, I decided I could help my clients more by focusing on strategic management consulting. As the principal consultant at my own firm, I helped business owners transition from simple business structures to thriving large organisations through rigorous planning and execution, coaching them and their management teams to run the business as competent C-suite executives. It was during this time as the Managing Director of my own company, that I realised that my greatest talent was in business growth acceleration. To this day, I am passionate about developing and executing tailored marketing strategies for my clients that deliver on their most important objectives and key results. My experience working in both a digital marketing agency environment and as a strategic marketing freelancer has allowed me to work with dozens of businesses across a wide range of industries.
