I am the founder of the social-marketplace for food and groceries oomami.com.au and organic juice company Feast Cold Pressed and have been involved in the hospitality and food industry since 1992. Prior to running my own companies I taught entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, marketing and more to undergrad and postrad students at Swinburne University and was CEO of a New South Wales based forestry and timber company that exported to Asia. My main interests lie in health and wellness, sustainable food systems, innovation and entrepreneurship and clean energy technologies.The number 1 skill of any entrepreneur is the ability to think outside the box closely followed by tenacity and a can do attitude. These then need to be combined with the ability to handle an unhealthy degree of uncertainty. My main passion lies in teaching startup entrepreneurs by providing insights, sharing my experiences and helping them develop their business models and strategies.
