After spending 2 and half years in my health insurance “career”, I have now seen the low points of working there, but also the great points of working there. A full circle.And boy-- do I have to say.. All I found was the focus on how big your “numbers” were for sales. Or the residual amount that they could make off of you. What’s so funny is that-- If most people had to choose between love and money, I truly think that their decision would be either a 50/50 split… Or even a higher percentage of people would chose love. I mean- think about it… why would you want so much money if you couldn’t have love? Love correlates to our happiness, in a way… Don’t argue with me on this.If you don’t ever receive or give love, what is the true meaning of life? Or humanity? You don’t die with your money. You can die with love, though. And after all of this realization, that’s when I knew I had to make a change. For myself. And for others. I wanted to influence others in a bigger way other than just having them envy my “lifestyle” or show off my “riches”. I wanted to enlighten people. Once I took away that disruption in my head and all those imposter syndrome techniques I was using to demoralize my dreams, I was, then, able to become “The Allison Minter”. The Life Coach. The Humanitarian. The Mentor.
