I have been working in the music industry as an independent artist, songwriter, and producer for 15+ years. I manage the day to day operations of my business as well as write, record, and perform new music. I've had several songs placed in popular televisions shows (Queen Sugar, One Tree Hill, Life Unexpected), and served for six years as a governor for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Recording Academy (2015-2021). I was also the co-chair of the education committee for the last two years I served. I've helped to program and moderate panels on publishing, collecting royalties, and managing mental health in the music industry. I've also helped program youth talent shows for the annual town festival in Battle Ground, WA. I am what you call a people person. I love networking and connecting people, which made me excel in sales prior to the roles I've stepped into in the music field, and helps me excel in creating programming and even hosting events. And, of course, it's an excellent skill to have as a performer.
