Assisted a masters student with field research on wolves in the Flathead and Wigwam wildlife management units of British Columbia. Due to the isolated living and working conditions, it was important to remain efficient and productive through proper organization, preparedness, and excellent communication with my colleague. Remaining safe was a top priority and Government and University safety protocols were followed carefully. The remote study area required problem solving, 4 wheel driving and ATV skills. Analyzed and stored large amounts of data by first classifying camera trap images and sound files and then pooling data into a database.
