My life journey—from growing up with a speech disorder to standing on top of Mount Everest—reflects this belief. Early on, I struggled with both academics and health, failing the 9th grade and being physically weak. However, those challenges became my greatest motivators. In a full-circle moment, the same 9th-grade curriculum I once struggled with now includes a lesson on my life in the Maharashtra (India) textbook.In 2012, I summited Mount Everest, the ultimate test of physical and mental endurance. This achievement was not just for me but in honor of my father, who worked tirelessly as a two-wheeler puncture mechanic. His sacrifices and work ethic inspired me to keep pushing, even when life got tough. I’ve dedicated many of my climbs, including my Mount Kilimanjaro, Koscisuzko and Elbrus ascents, to him. Even though I’ve reached incredible heights, I will never forget where I come from.
