I am a Professor of Computer Science and academic lead of the Center for Digital Innovation, at the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies (SCEDT), Teesside University. I am Co Editor-in-Chief for Computers in Industry journal. My research is highly interdisciplinary, ranging from evolutionary dynamics of competition and cooperation, to AI safety and AI race modelling, to cognitive modeling of intention recognition, plan recognition, decision making under uncertainty and moral reasoning, to multi-agent and autonomous systems.
