I am an experienced internal audit professional, currently responsible for risk and compliance at Srixon Sports, part of Sumitomo Rubber Industries. Previously, I worked as the key deputy to the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) for Hitachi Vantara, which included standing in as CAE for an 18 month period. I was responsible for coordination of overall risk assessment and planning activities for the department, and management of a cross-cultural global team with members in EMEA, America and APAC locations. My role involved liaison and collaboration with Japanese parent-company. During this time I was also responsible for transforming the IA methodology, by embedding data analytics processes and transforming audit reporting standards that were well received by business partners, management, and the Audit Committee. I am super organised and pragmatic, with a curious mind.In my spare time I enjoy baking and arts & crafts, and I am an active member of the Parent Teacher Associate (PTA) for my child's school, which involves fund raising and supporting school initiatives.I hold the following professional qualifications/certifications: CIA, CFE, CISA, CRISC, PRINCEII, QiCA and I am a certified GDPR Practitioner.
