I make whips. Really beautiful, heirloom quality kangaroo leather whips. I am the founder, owner and whip maker at Mojave Outliers Whipmakers, based in Eugene/Springfield, OR and Joshua Tree, CA. Naturally as a small business founder and owner, my skill set spans across numerous categories, including client services, marketing, research/development, sales, writing, website moderating and updating, social and professional networking, (informal) community service, planning, time management, quality assurance, and general trouble shooting, in addition to having independently undertaken all the training and practical knowledge that goes into making a top shelf product.

This was a volunteer position in which I worked closely with the author as editor on various works, and on the forthcoming Ninesong Deck. This position was rather a "jack of all trades" sort--whatever was needed, I set my hand to. This included creating artwork, layout, research and development, quality assurance, collaborative brainstorming, finance, writing and editing, strategic planning, purchasing and travel planning, and moral support. This was a remote position, so I worked unsupervised, with daily phone conferences and collaborative sessions.

Independently manage accounts territory, including monthly scheduling of service for 50+ commercial clients; training personnel; customer orientation, training, and communication both oral and written; designing and applying integrated pest management programs based on company protocols and local/federal laws; general sales.
