It’s why I've directed advocacy campaigns, NGOs & corporate & government sustainability programmes, worked in most sectors & several countries over the course of my 17-year career (preceded by 10+ years of community activism, organising & campaigning in my native USA).I have a diversity of experience that gives me a unique perspective & skillset. I’ve published a book, 'Communicating Social and Environmental Issues Effectively,' part of the UK PR Communications Association (PRCA) Practice Guide series and in October 2020 launched a podcast - 'The Discomfort Practice' - which explores how positive discomfort has shaped who some of the most interesting people I've come across have become and what they do in the world. Whatever I’m doing, I’m focused on informing, inspiring & sometimes pushing others to connect with their own humanity, understand connection between themselves & everything/everyone else & create a more sustainable, equitable world. I get shit done. And I help others get shit done. I'm an experienced chair, facilitator, media commentator & presenter. I find connecting with an audience a joy. A dance, even. And I can even do it well online.
