I starting using Revit back in 2005 to model in high detail for retail fit outs to show the client's what there store was going to look like but it wasn't till 2006 when I really started to capitalise on building information modelling or BIM for short because of its potential of putting large amounts of BIM into the families for scheduling, costing & quantities. In 2007 I became a family model manger and was responsible for creating most of the content for a $300M lab. In 2008 I became a BIM Manager for an architectural joint venture and started setting up protocols, families & templates. In late 2009 I set up an IPD model for the architecture joint venture and engineers on a 480 million hospital redevelopment this Revit model was used for costing’s and quantities. In 2011 i joined PDT and redid all there Revit protocols, file management, families, system families, templates, mass staff training, setting up all Revit projects to be IPD if possible & ongoing support to management, staff engineers & consultants.Specialties: Setting up Revit protocols, BIM protocols, file management, families, system families, templates, mass staff training, setting up all Revit projects to IPD if possible & ongoing support to management, staff engineers & consultants.
