Members make a year-long, full-time commitment to serve on a specific project at a local partnered non-profit organization. During my time as a VISTA for Gulf Coast Kid’s House, I served in a capacity building position with recruiting volunteers, assist with fundraisers and events, and creating different databases for prevention education. Upon completing my VISTA contract and graduating from University of West Florida, I was offered a full-time position at Gulf Coast Kid’s House.
