I am deeply passionate about teaching, leadership development, and veterinary education. With experience in both academic and private practice settings, I take great pride in developing innovative courses that address the current needs of graduating veterinarians. I thrive on the challenge of shaping curricula that reflect the evolving landscape of veterinary medicine especially when it comes to emerging technology. My approach in working with students is founded in servant leadership, where I find true joy in empowering others to grow as leaders within their teams and communities, fostering collaboration, and creating meaningful impact in their careers.As a veterinary neurologist I love working with general practitioners in improving access to care for neurological veterinary patients through the use of tele-consulting. By providing consultations to veterinarians for pets unable to seek formal referral we can strengthen the plan and approach developed by the general practitioner through a team-based medicine approach! Finally, I am passionate about expanding the pet parent’s knowledge base through online educational experiences founded in the andragogy of adult education.
