Click on the link below if you'd like to relive this classic moment.I thought I had a plan (“even had a sketch!”) like Ross until I got stuck. Growing up I had two main goals. First was to start for the Boston Celtics but then reality happened and the second was to be a "creative" like Michael Steadman from ABC's hit, Thirtysomething. I got close and became an account lead for some famous agencies. After one year at a small-town shop, I joined Leo Burnett and my career took off. I've been blessed to lead teams at other major agencies like Lowe + Partners, Ogilvy & Mather and Arc Worldwide. My experience has spanned disciplines from traditional advertising and digital to retail and shopper marketing. The opportunity to collaborate with brands like GMC, Holiday Inn, Coca-Cola, Radio Flyer and others gave me diverse experience - preparing me for virtually any marketing challenge.But after 17 years, I found myself introducing, hosting and partnering with the biggest stars in the world at one of the fastest growing entertainment brands of today. How did this happen? Well, I started screaming "PIVOT!"It wasn't until I left the big shops and worked with small agencies in Atlanta that I realized I had the skill to lead clients on my own. I consulted for agencies and brands like Topgolf, Studio Movie Grill, HarperCollins Publishing, Boston Calling Music Festival and others. But influencer marketing seemed to be where I found the opportunity for growth. My goal was to pull the right influential people into the brands I worked with, give them an experience like no other and have them share that new found love with their own fans. It worked. I've built a database of thousands of stars from pop culture including social media, pro sports, TV, movies, and music. I created ambassador programs that helped brands connect to major moments in culture like Comic-Con, Super Bowl, The Masters and The Ellen Show’s 12 Days of Giveaways. And in 2021 alone, our team amassed more than $25M in earned promotional value.Although Ross’ couch got stuck and couldn’t pivot anymore, I'm running up the stairs at full speed. :-)
