This year has been transformative for me—a time of growth, reflection, and personal development. Like many of my peers, I have navigated the challenges of the past few tumultuous years through introspection, discipline, and profound change. The pandemic afforded me the opportunity to pause, re-evaluate, and prioritize what truly matters.During this time, I discovered the importance of community, friendship, and spending more time outdoors tending to my garden. I have also come to embrace my skills and talents in a way I haven't before and am no longer content to solely fulfill others' desires while neglecting my own needs. I am now determined to fully own my intelligence and ability to tackle complex problems without surrendering control to those with stronger personalities.These are formidable goals, and I recognize that achieving them is a continuous process. However, I find empowerment in exploring my expertise in creative problem-solving and strategy, particularly within my local community. I am leveraging my considerable social abilities and shifting my focus from larger communities associated with my work with LEGO over the past two decades to addressing local concerns. I am excited for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, whether it be in pursuing new employment or continuing my efforts to enhance food security and promote sustainable living within my community.
