At Homesourcing AS, I held the esteemed position of an IT Specialist, where I wore multiple hats - from a software engineer to a consultant and mentor. My journey was marked by a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, which I leveraged to drive projects and mentor budding talent.Key Projects:DIRI AS: As the lead engineer for this project, I was at the forefront, steering the technical direction and ensuring the seamless execution of the project's objectives.Elvenguiden & Againx.ai: My role as a full-stack developer for these projects allowed me to delve deep into both the front-end and back-end aspects, ensuring a holistic development approach.Technical Proficiency:My technical arsenal primarily consisted of NodeJs, with a strong emphasis on Azure Infrastructure and Kubernetes. I was also deeply involved in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Beyond just coding, I played a pivotal role in managing workloads and setting technical requirements for my team, ensuring that projects were not only technically sound but also efficiently executed.Consulting & Mentoring:One of the most rewarding yet challenging aspects of my role was mentoring. The initial phase of introducing juniors to the intricacies of the tech world required immense patience and empathy. I always strived to lead by example, guiding them on a path where they could discover and hone their skills organically.Collaboration:My collaborative spirit was not just limited to my immediate team. I actively advised the admin team, participated in the hiring process by performing interviews, and provided insights for various projects across Homesourcing. This interdisciplinary collaboration ensured that I had a holistic view of the organization and could contribute beyond my designated role.

My roles have evolved into specific technical requirements for the company. After the delegation of tasks and management of development teams I have been given an opportunity to step up and take responsibilities around technology decisions and setting up strategies evolving around cyber security and cyber defense.Some of my responsibilities are:- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage- Help departments use technology profitably- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency- Build quality assurance and data protection processes- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company.- Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.- Outline the goals for research and development.- Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.- Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.- Acting as a mentor to team members.- Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market.- Managing technology budgets and time frames.- Staying on top of technology trends and developments.- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

My role with OneIdentity in IdentityWorkX is evolving around engaging - Department management, line management and delegation of responsibilities within the team.- Management of system development according to a defined design, and control of project deliveryin a structured environment. Collaborate with other project participants to ensure accurate ortimely delivery. Assess and manage the transition from design to delivery.- Participate in project progress reviews and meetings, update project progress information, identifypotential problems, manage solutions and deliver solutions to required quality standards.- Development of internal microservices, testing, production and maintenance, and synchronizationwith existing or new application solutions and tools that have been previously agreed andharmonized with the designs or needs of the employer or clients.- Determining the potential or performance of personaltechnical development, as well as team development and team performance for mandated andcurrent technologies.

My role includes analyzing and modifying existing software as well as designing, constructing and testing end-user applications that meet user needs — all through software programming language (JavaScript, C++, Java). Some of my responsibilities:- Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures.- Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.- Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.- Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs.- Investigating and using new technologies where relevant.- Providing written knowledge transfer material.

Responsibilities I carried out during this interesting opportunity were:- Writing efficient code- Creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices- Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe- Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down

I was working and learning closely with Adel on web development technologies.We had a lot of fun, setting up portofolio web page for the project. It was first time for me to get my hands on JavaScript technology.We continued our journey to create a demo for the product by creating web based single page application using jQuery and JavaScript DOM manipulations, event listeners and core utilities. It was a time when HTML5 & CSS3 were new which was an amazing opportunity for me to learn and to be a part of small Startup.
