I contributed to and project managed all resident publications, including handbooks, leaflets, newsletters, annual report and impact assessments. I was editor and project manager of the residents’ newsletter (printed circulation: 20,000), responsible for producing a publication schedule and leading a team to ensure targets are met. My team made cost savings of £25k in 2013-2013 by reducing the number of newsletters printed. I wrote and project-managed three annual reports.I was lead officer for the residents’ area of the website and intranet, responsible for writing and uploading regular clear and concise copy. My redesign of the benefit changes area of the website resulted in a 74% increase in views. I also managed our social media presence, developing and monitoring our group Facebook page and monitoring other negative and proactive social media sites. I developed and implemented communications plans for resident campaigns such as under occupancy and welfare reform.In May 2013 I gained a level 3 qualification in Improving Workplace Health. I received five nominations at the June 2013 Corporate Services awards ceremony for ‘best wellbeing role model’.

Battersea, London

I was editor, writer for and project manager of Battersea's two supporter magazines and the corporate annual report. I supervised animal and staff photo shoots for magazines and advertising materials, including for the Home’s 150th anniversary branding and a set of Royal Mail stamps.During my time at the Home I saw an opportunity for a Battersea Facebook page, and set one up. It now has over 550,000 followers. I was lead officer on the production of promotional videos for the Home, recruiting staff and animals, co-ordinating a filming schedule and overseeing filming and editing. I also project managed signage requirements across three sites, including complete signage installation of the new cattery building at London and 150th anniversary branding in London, Brands Hatch and Windsor.
