A virtual assistant providing a full range of secretarial, administrative and PA services from the comfort of my home office based in Rickmansworth.

Working within the Internal Communications team, I provided project support to the Social Responsibility Manager, including: • Benchmarking social responsibility initiatives across the retail sector including presenting to the Board. • Management of Comet's charity partnership, organising fundraising events throughout the Company and liaising with all functions within the organisation to meet/exceed fundraising target of £150,000 per year. This included a charity ball attended by 400 people which raised £60,000 towards the annual target. • Production of a CSR policy for the group. • Introduction in-store recycling initiatives – mobile phone and inkjet recycling; researching new recycling initiatives and compliance with WEEE Directive.

I was seconded to this role for a year, providing project support to the Employee Relations Manager. Achievements included: • Production of a Policy Manual, a definitive guide to Comet's HR policies • Assisting with research for a flexible working policy, including conducting focus groups and presenting findings to the Board. • Analysis of diversity statistics • Organisation of Employment Law Workshops for Comet's HR team • Secretary of Colleague Consultation Forum (CCF) works council
