I am a digital champion for Government of Canada and play a vital part in ensuring the government gets the most value out of its digital infrastructure.Steering the Ship:Collaboration Catalyst: I work with various government departments and agencies, to understand their IT needs and help solve their problems.Policy Architect: I help translate broad goals like being accessible, client-centric, cost-effectiveness, inclusive, performant, and secure into concrete technology strategies and policies for the GC.Industry Liaison: I maintain communication with technology service providers, ensuring the government gets the best deals and understands the latest advancements.Making it Happen:Implementation Strategist: I work with Shared Services Canada (SSC) to set service expectations, develop clear strategies and a user-friendly process for departments.Change Advocate: I champion the benefits of the digital transformation, promoting its advantages broadly with the GC.The Future in Sight:Technology Forecaster: I stay updated on emerging technologies and scientific trends to support the GC remaining adaptable and future-proof.Performance Tracker: I monitor the data about the IT ecosystem in the GC, analyzing it to identify areas for improvement and ensure digital delivers on its promises.Continuous Improvement Champion: I collaborate with stakeholders to refine and update our strategies, keeping them relevant and effective in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.In essence, I am a problem-solver and an architect, ensuring the government leverages technology for efficient and secure service delivery of it's services to Canadians.
