I began my instruction under Doris Russell, Tommy Sutton, Magdalena Maury, Madga Aunon, Jonsie Pollock and Carol Skutek. I owe these instructors my professional career. I then accepted a full scholarship to the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education under the direction of Sharon Story. I stayed with the company for several seasons as a Trainee/Apprentice spanning 5 years doing corps de ballet and demi soloist work. Moving on, I spent the next 8 years with Royal Caribbean Productions out of Hollywood, FL. During this time debuting new productions and being a featured dancer, I also became an accomplished wardrobe and wig supervisor under the direction of Craig Standen, overseeing as many as 3 production shows at a time. I worked with prominent choreographers and directors such as Harrison Maceldowny, Sherry Zunker, Jeremy Plumber, Frank Chavez, Laura Dunlop and countless others. After 2 knee surgeries on the same knee, it was finally time to pursue other ventures. I began seriously teaching and choreographing for my former youth ballet company, The Georgia Youth Ballet under the direction of Magdalena Maury. I had 2 pieces selected in 2 years to go to the Southeastern Regional Ballet Association's annual festival with the GYB, then under the direction of Jonsie Pollock. Being recognized at SERBA felt wonderful, since I had spent many years studying from amazing teachers there. Shortly after the home of the GYB closed, I began teaching for Mitch Flanders at Studio D: Home of the Griffin Ballet Theatre and for Vanessa Gibson owner of Eagles Landing Dance Center. I teach both ballet and jazz technique classes at both locations. Wanting to branch out, I also began teaching at Dance 101, an adult dance and fitness concept studio, in Atlanta owned by Ofelia de La Valette. Ofelia and Dance 101 sponsored me in Dance Canvas's 2012 January showcase held at the 14th Street Playhouse, where my piece "The Liberation" was debuted.
