Computer vision team delivers cutting edge 3D technology such as localization, generation and texturing of meshes from point clouds, and scene understanding. iOS and Android teams build easy to use 3D space scanning mobile applications.• Expand beyond 3D scanning with Matterport's proprietary Pro camera series. My teams launched Matterport's integrations with 3rd party cameras such as Lidar-based camera (Leica BLK360), Spherical 360 cameras (Ricoh, and Insta360), and mobile phone cameras. This expansion propelled Matterport as a 3D platform.• Drive research on deep learning approaches to monocular depth prediction, space classification, object detection, real-time Augmented Reality 3D tags.• Sparked engineering culture change to adopt relentless measure and learn loop (on top of building fast).

Silver Spring Networks' IoT technology connects millions of devices for some of the world's biggest Smart Grid, and Smart City business. I managed teams on our Advance Metering Infrastructure, Smart City, and Power Monitor products. Currently, I am leading a team to create our next generation platform.I also led projects to increase operational and engineering efficiency such as redefining performance engineering methodology and SDLC, standardizing product deployment framework, and organizing new-hire curriculum.

• Designed and implemented the next generation of Marimba Object Repository built on top of Hibernate to provide historical data audit trails, access control• Designed Definitive Software Library (DSL) component in the ITIL framework for the BMC Change and Configuration Management solution• Led the design of a LDAP to SQL Database synching module for groups, users, and machines data• Re-implemented the web application GUI for the management console. Enhanced plug-in framework for the management console to provide extension points for business objects, GUI, and command line. Implemented plug-ins for Weblogic, F5 Load Balancer, bare-metal provisioning, and configuration setting• Initiated efforts to improve development process by promoting usage of IntelliJ, unit testing, and developer’s integration lab
