Erica Carroll is a passionate and driven professional in the Audio Video industry, with a love of learning new things and sharing technical concepts with others. With over a decade of experience in AV, Erica has worked exclusively for AV manufacturers and established herself as a leader and expert in developing customer education and technical training programs. Her love of learning new things and solving complex problems has been the driving force behind her success, and she thrives on the challenges that the AV industry presents.Erica's dedication to the industry extends beyond her day-to-day work. She is an active volunteer, holding the committee chair position with the AVIXA Content & Learning Committee and in a past position with the AVIXA Women's council, where she served as a local leader from 2018 to 2022. Her passion for empowering women in the industry is also evident in her role as the host of AVNation's Women of AV Podcast, where she shares stories and insights from women in all career stages and specialties within AV.Erica's commitment to education and community outreach is also demonstrated through her leadership of an annual fundraiser for Rosie Riveters, a 501c3 organization dedicated to building girls' confidence in STEM fields. Through this fundraiser, Erica has helped to introduce young girls to the AV industry, showing them that it is a viable career path, and actively helping to close the gender gap for future generations coming into AV.Whether she is building new training programs, mentoring other women in the field, or inspiring young girls to pursue careers in STEM, Erica is committed to making a difference in the world around her.
