My journey has taken me from being a finance major to a Cincinnati Firefighter to a residential real estate investor and flipper to finally landing in commercial real estate. I value my journey and believe in the entrepreneurial spirit. I strive to be a life-long learner. I believe in the entrepreneurial spirit and understand the realities of that life path. My greatest strengths include curiosity, personal accountability, and resilience.I value the freedom of time and experiences financial freedom offers and therefore believe in passive income and commercial real estate as a path to achieving those goals. My fear is that we miss our opportunity for these benefits when passive income is so achievable.Like many, I started my real estate investment career in the residential space and expanded into the commercial arena. My first property was a student housing rental in 2014, while I was still active with the Cincinnati Fire Department. Later, I expanded into renovations, and eventually, after many years of growth, education, and “failing forward”, found myself in the commercial space. My story is like many entrepreneurs’ as I have navigated ups and downs with successes and failures in my journey. As it turns out, it was during a less-than-ideal renovation when I realized, after years spent starting side hustles and residential real estate, that I was still only trading my time for money! My fears were materializing and I needed passive income. As a strong proponent of multiple, passive sources of income and protecting the commodity of time, I believe financial freedom is achievable through commercial real estate investment and is now more accessible than ever. My message to fellow entrepreneurs is simple, STOP TRADING YOUR TIME FOR MONEY and LIVE LIFE BULLISH.
